Community Paintings
These paintings show a collaboration of ideas, images and energy. I presented a blank canvas 8' x 4' during a public event with paint markers and an invitation to express something positive. Both of these pieces were started at "The Mighty Kindness Festival" in Louisville, KY in successive years. After the event day I took the pieces back into the studio, working over the original images with semi-transparent layers to create a larger cohesive statement.
